The brand that is me

Having to develop a personal brand to represent myself has been a bit of a feat for me. How do you represent yourself in a way that encompasses your values while building on your interests and personality?

I recently learned from Personal Brand Camp and the Third Tuesday event with Mitch Joel that it's all about just being yourself and listening actively to others around you.

I have created this blog as an extension of myself so that I can publish my thoughts and ideas for friends, family, colleagues and future employers to see what I am about and what I can offer.

My brand plan is all about how I can put an authentic representation of me out into the online world. Focusing on my interests and strengths will help to set me apart from other colleagues looking for careers in PR.

In the PR industry where personality distinguishes one from the rest, I hope my brand will showcase my charisma and enthusiasm.
